Roots blower is a volumetric blower. Its two three-blade impellers rotate relative to each other in the space sealed by the casing and wall panels. Since the gaps between the impellers, the impellers and the casing, the impellers and the wall panels are extremely small, then vacuum state is formed at the air inlet. Air enters the air inlet cavity under atmospheric pressure, then two blades of each impeller form a sealed cavity with the wall panel and the casing. During the rotation of the impeller, the air in the air inlet cavity is continuously brought to the exhaust cavity by the sealed cavity formed by the two blades. Because the impellers in the exhaust cavity are meshed with each other, the air between the two blades is squeezed out. With this continuous operation, air is continuously transported from the air inlet to the air outlet.
 

 

Technical Features

(1) The three-blade rotor structure is adopted with low vibration and low noise fan.

(2) The impeller and shaft are an integral structure and the impeller is wear-free, so the fan performance remains unchanged and can operate continuously for a long time.

(3) The fan has a large volume utilization rate, high volume efficiency, compact structure and flexible installation methods.

(4) A full range of models can meet the needs of different users for different purposes.

 

Operating Conditions

(1) The inlet temperature of the conveying medium should usually not exceed 50 ºC.

(2) The content of particles in the medium shall not exceed 100mg/m3, the maximum size of particles shall not exceed half of the minimum working gap.

(3) The bearing temperature during operation shall not exceed 95 ºC, the lubricating oil temperature shall not exceed 65 ºC.

(4) When the Roots blower is running, the oil levels in the main and auxiliary oil tanks must be between the two red lines on the oil level gauge.

(5) Check if there are any forgotten fastening parts at the import and export connection points, also check if the supporting components of the piping are complete. The blower and vacuum pump that require cooling water should be checked to ensure that the installation of the cooling water meets the requirements.
