The positive and negative pressure protector is mainly used to eliminate excessive pressure or negative pressure in equipment under abnormal working conditions to ensure safe operation of the equipment.

If condensed water is generated, it will automatically drain. When the pressure exceeds 2000Pa, it will automatically exhaust. When it is lower than 300Pa, it will automatically adjust the suction to ensure that the equipment will not have negative pressure and ensure safe operation of the equipment.

The equipment is equipped with special antifreeze to solve the problem of normal use in cold areas

 

Working Principle

There is a certain depth of water seal inside the positive pressure protector to prevent biogas leakage and relieve pressure. When the anaerobic tank is fed and stirred, the gas production suddenly increases and the pressure increases. The water level in the central pipe drops and biogas escapes from the lower end of the central pipe and is discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney on the side wall.

There will also be a water seal inside the negative pressure protector. When the pressure inside the tank is within the normal range, the pressure inside the tank will press against the sleeve, then air cannot enter. When the anaerobic tank discharges liquid and mud, it will cause the liquid level inside the tank to rapidly drop, forming negative pressure. The external pressure is greater than the internal pressure and the float rises. After the float leaves the water surface, air enters and the internal and external pressure is balanced.
 

 

Usage Instructions

 

(1) When the anaerobic tank has a rigid top, the selected positive and negative pressure protector model is 4kpa type. Positive and negative pressure protectors are usually installed at the top of the tank, with a positive pressure protection pressure of 2.5 kPa and a negative pressure of 500 Pa.

The conversion relationship for water seal depth is that 1cm water column corresponds to a pressure of 100pa. There is a DN20 inlet at the top of the protector and the glass liquid level indicator tube on the side of the protector is observed. The positive pressure water level is between 20cm and 30cm  and the negative pressure water level is around 12-19cm. The upper and lower fluctuations should not be too large, and the water level should be added as accurately as possible.

(2) When the anaerobic tank is membrane top, the positive and negative pressure protector model selected is 500pa. Generally installed on a 3m platform on the tank side, the positive pressure water level (level gauge water level height) should be around 5cm, and the negative pressure water level (level gauge water level height) should be around 7cm. The up and down fluctuations should not be too large, and the water level should be added as accurately as possible.

(3) Due to factors such as water evaporation, it is necessary to regularly inspect the liquid level height inside the glass level indicator tube. When the water level is below the required height, water should be injected into the protector and observed at all times to prevent excessive water from being added.

(4) The winter in the north is cold, so when adding water, an appropriate amount of car antifreeze should be added to ensure that the protector starts and runs normally.
