EGSB Anaerobic Reactor
The expanded granular sludge bed reactor is a third-generation anaerobic reactor. The granular sludge bed in the reactor is in a partially or completely "expanded" state. The EGSB reactor adopts a large height-to-diameter ratio and a large reflux ratio. Under the agitation of high speed and gas production, the contact between the wastewater and the granular sludge is more sufficient, so the wastewater has a very short hydraulic retention time in the reactor.
1. Technical features:
(1) High BOD removal rate about 90%~95%, stable operation and simple structure.
(2) Granular sludge is easier to form and evenly distributed, and the biomass in the sludge bed is large (up to 60g/l), which is suitable for the treatment of medium and high concentration organic wastewater.
(3) The volume loading rate of the reactor is 2-3 times higher than ordinary UASB reactors, the residence time is shorter and the volume is greatly reduced.
(4) Easily to operate, adopts the method of spin-mixing water distribution, the water distribution is uniform and the mass transfer is better, no problem of clogging and short flow.
(5) Added external backflow system, supplement of alkalinity through the backflow water, reduced the operating cost i.
(6) High diameter-height ratio (generally 2-4), small footprint and easily to manage.
2. Application fields:
(1) High-concentration organic sewage, including: landfill leachate, alcohol wastewater, beer wastewater, slaughter wastewater, and breeding wastewater.
(2) High-concentration industrial wastewater, including: oil refining and processing wastewater, papermaking wastewater, chemical wastewater (poisonous and harmful), pharmaceutical wastewater.
(3) Food processing wastewater, including: agricultural product processing wastewater, beverage processing wastewater, food processing wastewater, sugar wastewater, dairy wastewater.
